VERIXA / Sample Audit

A real audit, run on our own store.

We have not completed a paid client engagement yet, and we will not invent one. So instead of a case study, here is the real thing: a complete VERIXA Operations Audit, run end to end on our own Amazon account, with the actual numbers left in. Same process, same format you receive.

Account health

Clean, but unproven.

Zero policy violations across all ten categories, and an Account Health Rating of 200. Every performance metric — order defect rate, late shipment, valid tracking, on‑time delivery — returns N/A rather than a number.

  • What that meansN/A across the board means Amazon has no completed orders to measure. The account is compliant, but it has no trading record. “Healthy” here reflects the absence of problems, not evidence of good operations.
  • Risk todayNone. But an account with no order history carries no seller-performance record, which limits eligibility for some programmes later.

The central finding

3,484 people looked. Nobody bought.

One listing: ARM & HAMMER Simply Saline Nasal Care Daily Mist, ASIN B000VLD8P2, active since 6 July 2026, 22 units held at FBA.

  • Page views, last 30 days3,484
  • Units soldNone.
  • Featured Offer (Buy Box)Held by another seller at $7.17.
  • What it meansThe traffic is real, so demand is not the problem. On a shared ASIN the seller holding the Featured Offer takes effectively all of the sales. Losing it is the complete explanation for zero conversion at this traffic level.

Unit economics

The obvious fix would lose money.

The instinctive answer to “we are not winning the Buy Box” is to cut the price. Here that fails, and the arithmetic is short enough to check.

  • Featured Offer price$7.17
  • Total Amazon fees$5.66, of which $3.86 is the FBA fee
  • Left before cost of goods$1.51
  • The findingAt the Buy Box price there is $1.51 per unit to cover the purchase price of a branded retail product. Any realistic sourcing cost consumes that and more. The listing is not mispriced — the product is unviable at this ASIN’s market price. Cutting price to win the Buy Box would convert zero sales into loss-making sales, which is worse.

What we recommended to ourselves

And what this audit could not answer.

  • Decide within the weekLiquidate the 22 units and recover the capital, or accept a controlled loss to clear them. Continuing to hold is a decision too, and it is the one that costs money quietly while storage fees accrue.
  • Screen on fees, not demand3,484 page views made this ASIN look attractive. The number that decided the outcome was $7.17 minus $5.66. Fee-first screening before any purchase prevents the repeat.
  • Not examinedAdvertising performance (no campaigns running), customer feedback (no orders exist to generate any), and catalogue structure (one listing). Those sections are part of a normal client audit and are omitted here because there is genuinely no data behind them. We would rather leave a section out than pad it.

The same audit, on your account

Free, and you keep the report either way.

Every figure above was read directly from Seller Central and nothing is estimated or illustrative. We will run the same six-area audit on your account at no charge and no obligation, and tell you the uncomfortable thing if there is one. You decide afterwards whether you want us to act on any of it.
